In this highly interactive and energized presentation, Kris Boesch weaves valuable content, enlightening stories and tangible tools to improve your workplace culture. Whereas other programs miss the mark by only talking about employee "satisfaction" or "engagement," Boesch takes workplace culture to a whole new level well beyond compensation, basic HR practices and "perks." Boesch will share how to create meaningful collaboration, camaraderie and connection amongst your team. Camaraderie creates a strong sense of belonging while dissipating divisions and emphasizing team cohesion. You’ll learn how to instill shared identity, interdependency awareness as well as kind, candid and constructive communication. Participants will be able to take her doable best practices and implement them within their teams to see immediate results.

Panel discussion with Western Slope Female Managers on being a female leader, what it means to be resilient, leadership challenges and solutions they have focused on in their career.
Demographics of Western Slope Leadership: Who is leading us, and how can we help improve the diversity of our leadership in our organizations and our communities? How can we help move women into leadership positions, and what strategies should “rising stars” consider to grow their leadership potential? Panel discussion with rising stars and current managers about the culture of our communities, elected bodies, and how we as resilient women in government can help create more opportunity for diversity in leadership on both elected bodies and within our organizations. Small group discussion on strategies, opportunities, and advice. Rising stars and managers from around the western slope will engage in dialogue to develop a list of best management practices for growing organizational diversity by growing our own! We will conduct a SWOT analysis of our communities focused on identifying actionable items to support women, millennials, and people of color on paths towards leadership roles in our communities.
